Using a highly flexible vertical casting process, we produce high-quality wire products from copper-based alloys.
The product range includes pre-rolled wires (4-sided), pre-drawing wires for further drawing as well as finished wires for a variety of applications. Our comprehensive alloy portfolio has allowed us to offer the optimum material for the individual application.

Within these basic versions, different sizes are available in some cases, which are used depending on the existing facilities at our customers and the requested dimensions.

Production Process
In wire production, we can realise long strand lengths without weld seams in a continuous casting process. Eight strands are cast in one process on a modern uphill casting machine, which are then reduced to square wire on multi-stand bending rollers. Coil weights of up to 2 tonnes are produced in this way for further processing. Homogenising and recrystallising heat treatment is carried out on stationary box- annealing equipment and cold forming is carried out on multiple and single drawing machines. Thinner wires are drawn on combined multiple drawing and inline continuous annealing lines and immediately soft annealed.
